PLANNING FOR COMPLIANCE

These are transitional times for colleges and technology. College AT programs must be built on a solid and articulated plan. Otherwise, they risk being ineffective, inefficient and out of compliance.

AT Program Compliance Reviews

AT compliance reviews compares your program services to best practices. “Best Practices” are not entirely rigid concepts, but must align with your school’s structure and philosophy. Information is gathered on multiple levels and then presented in an informative report. The report evaluates each service in your AT program for legal compliance, efficiency and student support.

AT Service Reviews

An AT service is a discreet area within an AT program.  Some examples are: atl-text provision, student training, support for students with learning disabilities, etc. Sometimes a service area needs a review and reorganization. This is an economical way to update an area of an otherwise well-functioning AT program.

General Problem Solving

Sometimes a small problem becomes a large obstacle to program operations. A full-blown compliance review is not necessary, but a fresh perspective may be needed to get all stakeholders to agree and get past the issue. In this circumstance we evaluate the issue, consult all stakeholders and then offer multiple solutions. We can also work through the implantation of the resolution.
